The WHO just changed the Swine Flu to a level 6, its highest level which makes it a pandemic now.

The dipshit of Minnesota is back in the news. Here’s the one and only Michele Bachmann:
BACHMANN: I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out then under Democrat President Jimmy Carter. And I'm not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it is an interesting coincidence.
But as Think Progress points out, that outbreak in the 70’s happened in February of 1976, when Republican Gerald Ford was President.
Bachmann is trying to turn this possible pandemic into a political game with totally wrong facts. That’s what happens when she tries to play with the big kids.

I blogged yesterday about Malkin blaming immigrants for the outbreak of swine flu. It now looks like she was just getting the ball rolling for the racist right.
The fact is that most people in America who have contracted the flu were recently in Mexico, or around someone who has been there. Facts like this quickly get lost when people like Malkin and Beck want to turn a potential tragedy into a reason to hate.
By fixing the antiquated system to calculate the federal poverty level we can quickly fix the flaws in the new health care bill. Below are the bills introduced in the House and Senate to do just that.
