CNN is having some major ratings problems:

Through March 17, CNN trailed not only Fox News and MSNBC but also its own sister network, Headline News, on nine out of 17 days. On one day, March 13, CNN even drew fewer 25-to-54 viewers than CNBC — the first time that’s happened since November 2007. And of the eight days it finished higher than fourth in the demo, five were either Saturdays or Sundays, typically the lowest rated nights for the news networks.

I stopped watching CNN a couple of years ago. I couldn’t handle their self-aggrandizing attitude any longer. It seems like every other minute you are hearing “the best team in politics” or “the most trusted name in news”. Not only that, but their constant attempts to out bling the other networks was getting very stale. I did watch them a couple of times during the election last year, and watching John King do his Minority Report routine on their map was extremely annoying.

If CNN wants to start being taken seriously again then they need new talent and to focus on their actual job more, not on their stage craft.
