On Sunday I posted about a huge lie that was being pushed by Drudge:

The article linked to by Drudge even pushed that this was Obama’s doing, but as I also pointed out it was George W. Bush in January of 2004 that announced the retirement of the shuttle program. It was the Republican controlled 108th and 109th Congress that started the massive budget cuts. It was even George W. Bush in 2008 that signed the waiver stating American astronauts would fly on Russian spacecrafts to the ISS.

But don’t let these facts stop the Romney campaign from pushing a huge lie that “President Obama outsourced the space program”. Here’s Romney surrogate and former New Hampshire Governor John Sununu on Monday:

“In fact, we had an event yesterday that wasn’t well reported,” he continued. “We launched a U.S. astronaut up to the space station. But you know how she was launched? She was launched on a Russian spacecraft because President Obama has outsourced a major portion of the U.S. space program to the Russians.”

Again, IT WAS BUSH! Maybe Sununu should ask his son, who was in the Republican controlled Congress when this decision was made and voted to cut the budgets.

But facts don’t matter to this bunch of lying idiots. While Romney demanded an apology from the Obama campaign this week for questioning Bain, something that even big name Republicans are now questioning, he must have forgot that it was ROMNEY who wanted to start playing this whole “tell lies” game starting last November.

Now twisting stories and taking things out of context has always been a vile part of politics. We can’t deny that. But what we are seeing by Romney is a totally new low. This man is going to destroy the already crumbling political system we have.

But when you have no policy, no plan and no vision, all you can do is lie, which is why Mitt Romney is sinking to this level – HE HAS NOTHING!.
