BREAKING: Report Of Hostages At Clinton Campaign Office

This is scary stuff and what our country has come to:

An armed man took people hostage Friday at a Hillary Clinton presidential campaign office in New Hampshire, police said.

The incident happened at about 1 p.m. Friday at 28 North Main St. in Rochester. Officials said that a man is holding people hostage at the office, but it is unclear how many people are being held.

There are several police officers positioned across the street from the office, crouched down behind cruisers with guns drawn, according to a reported at the scene.

UPDATE (2:15pm)

Hillary has canceled her speech this afternoon at the DNC due to this crisis.

UPDATE (2:25)

And the wingnuts start! A commenter on Hot Air (Malkin's other blog) thinks it is a campaign stunt. Here is a screen grab:

UPDATE (2:30)

And now on Malkin's blog, one commenter wants us to "pray this is real". Sick!

(more updates below the fold)

UPDATE (2:50)
Again on HotAir we get more of the wingnut foolery:

Malkin has a track record of trolling through left-wing blog comments when something like this happens and exploiting comments by anonymous people. Her sites require a closed registration (meaning you can't even sign up - you must be invited in). This really shows how her "friends" think.

UPDATE (3:10)

FOX News is advertising on their website to watch the swat team moving in "live". The other news stations are saying they were asked to not show live footage. So if they have internet access in this office (most likely) and he has FOX's website on, this guy now knows the position of swat teams.

UPDATE (3:50)

Reports are that this is a local man with a history of mental illness.

This is pathetic. I found this blog through a CNN.com link. You seriously can't stop hating the right-wing for even two seconds? Who cares what lunatics are writing on Malkin's blog? It only enflames other lunatics who act and say things that are just as crazy.

I sincerely hope this crisis is resolved peacefully, and that the potential bomber is prosecuted fully. And let's not read into the bomber's stated affiliations to any group, because it is irrelevant. He's a lunatic and should be treated as such. And people that say they hope something bad happens should be ostracized (and should not be considered as real affiliates that represent either Democrats or Republicans).

Your blaming this blog for people wishing death of innocent bystanders? I remember Malkin attacking left wing blogs when there was an attempt on Cheney's life because of comments. That even made national news. I hope you apply your holier than now attitude to Malkin also.

Done. If Malkin's blog (which I don't ever follow) did this same thing when Cheney was attacked, then that was equally as pathetic. Do you really want the right wing to attach those comments (I only assume they were just as vile) to the left wing? Of course you wouldn't, because I can only assume that you, like me, aren't sadistic and wish pain and violence on those that disagree with you. That's what crazy people say and do. As for your "holier than now" comment, I think you're either not reading my entire post or purposely misconstruing what I posted. How is it holier than thou to believe that using this as an opportunity to attack the political opposition is in poor taste? My point is simply that it is pathetic to use a terrible event like this and the wacko posts that ensue as evidence that the political opposition is, in a word, evil.

Michelle Malkin's website just goes on and on with the Clinton Deraingement syndrom. She is trying to delete such comments, but can't seem to keep up with the volume that is coming in.

Lots of deletes, eh? Unreal.

For all of you who go on about Bush derangement, to honestly think and suggest that this is a Clinton stunt is not only bats*** loony, but wildly hypocritical. Might want to take a look at yourselves, because your true colors are showing today.

Just saying.

Is this HRC’s vast right wing conspiracy in the flesh?
Hope the hostages get out safely but for the life of me,
I do not trust either one of the Clinton’s not to have
found this poor man and staged this. Call me a cynic
when it comes to these two.

Regarding deletions: Site owner & admin does not want to exhibit the left-wing loon’s penchant for allowing/displaying seemingly tasteless posts…Bravo.

Just so you know, that screenshot of the Fox news website is NOT telling people to watch the S.W.A.T. team move in "live." They are giving the headline that the S.W.A.T. team is moving in. "Watch live" invites people to tune in to the channel for complete coverage, ie: commentary, press conferences and endless guessing about this guys identity, background and possible reasons for flipping out like this ... not to see the actual team moving in. Just thought you might like to know.
