Clinton/Obama, Obama/Clinton

The talk now is that Clinton and Obama will most likely end up sharing a ticket. The Clinton campaign has already hinted at this, and Chuck Todd echoed the same thing this morning on MSNBC.

I think this might be the best possibility out there, if done right. What needs to happen is both candidates agree that the other will be their running mate. Then they stop the harsh attacks on each other and focus amongst the differences. They also need to focus on John McCain. Now that he is the presumptive nominee, he has the full force of the GOP behind him and a jump start on November. That means Clinton and Obama both going after him will be the best solution.

Having these two run on a ticket together could be the best hope for the Democrats to win the White House this fall. Since the primary races are starting to become more sparse, let's hope they come to an agreement on such. Let the voters decide who has the top spot on the ticket, but the other one will be on the ticket also.

Obama-Clinton, Clinton-Obama – either dream team is McCain’s worst nightmare. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama can easily make that nightmare a reality for him right now. Here’s how:

Both publicly pledge that if are nominated for President, the other candidate will be their first choice for the Vice Presidential spot.

This immediately puts a stop to attacks on the other, or calling their ability into question. They can still debate the issues and clarify their differences, but the main focus of their anger and outrage can now be directed at the Bush-McCain policies of the past 8 years.

The enthusiastic support of the other is exactly what each candidate will need to win in the fal.. Each appeals to the voters the other has the hardest time attracting. If they combine their strengths – “hope” and “work” - they both will almost certainly be in a position to lead America out of the mess we are in.
