Why Boehner Matters
Last night in my Open Letter to John Boehner, I made this statement:
I am not asking as a blogger. I am asking as a constituent. Considering the pure number of these acts we here reported in our own area on a daily basis (and I do only live 10 miles from you so we hear the same news), couldn't you have exhibited some outrage and taken action?
Today I want to put some backing on that claim.
An Escondido man is being held in lieu of $1 million bail in Ohio after pleading not guilty to several charges stemming from an alleged tryst he had with a 13-year-old girl, it was reported Thursday.
Christopher Ryan King, 28, allegedly had sex with the girl after meeting her on the Internet, according to published reports.
He pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Montgomery County Municipal Court to 12 charges of sexual misconduct involving the girl at a Brookville, Ohio, motel.
A Florence man was arrested Monday evening and charged with using the Internet to solicit sex from an undercover police officer in Ohio.
Fred Voelker was arrested in an Internet sting operation conducted in Hamilton Township. He allegedly tried to solicit sex from an officer posing as a 15-year-old girl, Channel 5 reported.
