“We Hate the United States”

Posted 8/31/09 at 8:17am by jamie

Yesterday there was a pro-secession rally in Texas, or as I like to call it “the Rick Perry fan club”. One of the chants they were yelling - “we hate the United States”. Could you imagine that being yelled by people on the left during the Bush years? Welcome to the no-fly list, being intercepted by NSA and followed by the Pentagon.

But this doesn’t seem to be a problem confined to Texas. At the tea rallies and townhalls the right exhibiting more and more hatred to our nation. When we have people proudly declare they are “right wing terrorists” and Republican congressmen offering them support, then the problem becomes symbolic with the Republican Party.

It’s amazing that the party of Lincoln is so damn set on tearing this nation apart. Could you imagine if he was alive today to see this? Hell – could you imagine if Reagan was alive today to see this? The Republican Party has become a party of whackos and until it finds true leadership the membership will continue to deteriorate.

Stay Out Of The Country!

That is what the U.K. has told right wing talked Michael Savage. They have published a list of entertainers who are barred from entering the country because they foster hatred and extremism. I would say that pretty much sums up Savage.

But it doesn’t stop there. Fred Phelps of “God Hates Fags” is also barred, along with former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard Stephen Donald Black and neo-Nazi Erich Gliebe.

Now how long before the cast and crew of Fox news is added?

Swine Flu May Have Started In U.S.

Posted 5/1/09 at 10:18am by jamie

Since the swine flu has been all the news, we have seen right wingers like Michelle Malkin and Glenn Beck using it to promote their racist agenda against Mexico, calling for the border to be sealed. Now it turns out the outbreak may have actually started right here in the United States.

Let me remind you of what Malkin said:

I’ve blogged for years about the spread of contagious diseases from around the world into the U.S. as a result of uncontrolled immigration. We’ve heard for years from reckless open-borders ideologues who continue to insist there’s nothing to worry about. And we’ve heard for years that calling any attention to the dangers of allowing untold numbers of people to pass across our borders and through our other ports of entry without proper medical screening — as required of every legal visitor/immigrant to this country — is RAAAACIST.

The fact that Malkin heard of a disease and Mexico and instantly pinned it on immigrants is RACIST. She is just too wrapped up in her own hatred to realize that. But its nice to see that the proof is coming out to show the rest of the country exactly how racist Malkin is.

Because Payback Is A Bitch

During the Bush years any dissent we showed on the left from the Bush policies was met with a fear of retribution from our government. The Pentagon even spent resources spying on protestors during the Bush years. This at a time when our nation was in two very deadly wars.

Well here we are with a Democratic President in the White House, and now the Department of Homeland Security is looking into the threats from right wing extremists.

The revelation came from a declassified report (pdf here) put out by DHS. Now the right is screaming about it.

Now let’s think. Our Department of Homeland Security is taking a look at groups of people, who are out stock piling weapons and ammunition and even hinting at the assassination of our President. But now the very people, who just a couple of years ago were calling for left wing protestors to be jailed, are now crying foul.

Cry me a fucking river you bunch of hypocrites. This is America – love it or leave it. Our side of the debate was told that repeatedly for the past eight years and now that the tide has turned, the right has got their panties in a bunch.

When the left was under this kind of government scrutiny. Wait. When we were under a stronger scrutiny, considering the fact that the military was watching us, we didn’t run and stock pile guns and ammos and talk about killing Bush. We went about our business and continued our protests.

And finally. How many left wing extremists went out and killed police officers because of their hatred for George Bush? Yeah – that’s what I thought.

Mayor Apologizes For Kids’ Chanting ‘Assassinate Obama’

Posted 11/19/08 at 8:37pm by jamie

Rocky-Smith-Four-Year-Old-Racist-UK I posted about the story of a bus full of school kids chanting “assassinate Obama” in Idaho when it first happened a couple of weeks ago. It has gained some national attention, and now the mayor of the local town has apologized for what happened. That’s a nice gesture, but then I read further in the article what the superintendent of the school had to say:

Still, Superintendent Geoffrey Thomas blamed the media for spreading news of the chants.

"In our district there was an isolated instance of children making regrettable and unacceptable remarks in regards to harming President-elect Obama," Thomas wrote in a letter to parents Monday. "Word of this behavior leaked out to a hyperactive media and bloggers which in turn distorted way out of proportion the comments that were made, painting the entire community with the same negative brush."

Here we go with typical Republican strawmen. It’s the medias fault for all this! Oh yeah – and those damn bloggers! They shouldn’t talk about the schools I run raising a bunch of little hate mongers. If this town really wants to show they are sorry about what happened, a perfect gesture would be the firing of this idiot running their schools. I think the Republicans should get behind such a movement also. This is considered the “reddest part of America”. Does the GOP want to be associated with such hatred and racism?

'Purveyor Of Hate Speech'

Posted 11/18/08 at 11:59am by jamie

6a00d8341bf6cb53ef00e54f2b18f38833-800wi Old Willy Cunningham just can’t get a break, and rightfully so. For anyone that lives in the Cincinnati area, they know the name and know the hate this man spews. At times he is more over the edge than Hannity and Limbaugh combined. But old Willy finally admits what those others won’t – that his sole purpose in life is to get ratings and revenue:

"I said that Barack Obama's father acted the way a black father normally acts, which is quickly have a baby and leave. Which is factually accurate, and it's rather sad," Cunningham said. "My goal is to hurt no one and simply get ratings and revenue -- that's what I'm after. And I have 200,000 listeners because people understand it, and they get it."

The station Cunningham is on, 700 WLW, is one of the most powerful stations in the country. You can hear them all through Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. And their reach goes beyond that depending upon geographical conditions. I have actually been able to pick them up in Tennessee before with my car radio. So yes he has a lot of listeners, but look at the areas he has them in – nice and red. But if he wants to make his fame and fortune through hatred, so be it. He will find out the true price when he meets his maker.

More Prop 8 Pain

Posted 11/17/08 at 7:58pm by jamie

james_dobson_56543216 But this time it’s a good kind of pain. Focus on the Family, James Dobson’s little group of hatred,  is going to lay off over 200 employees, cutting it’s workforce by more than 20%. It turns out they dumped too much money into Prop 8 and their love of gay bashing, so they can’t afford their own employees now. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of bigots.

ACORN Goes After The GOP For Voter Suppression

Posted 10/29/08 at 5:30pm by jamie

It's great to see ACORN firing back at the GOP over their bogus allegations.

ACORN isn't laying down either, filing two lawsuits today. This entire faux-outrage by the rabid right has really shown their hatred. Who in their right mind would think that a national group like ACORN would collude to go out and illegally register people? It's about as absurd as saying the RNC is holding meetings on how to keep blacks from voting.

Olbermann Asks McCain To "Speak Up And Lead"

Posted 10/28/08 at 7:59am by jamie

Following the hoax that is now known as Ashley Todd, Keith Olbermann offers a sobering campaign comment asking John McCain to finally speak out on all this racism coming from his supporters and show he is a leader:

John McCain does need to do this, not only for the country, but for John McCain. He is at a great risk of losing everything he has done for this country in the annals of history and instead being remembered as the man who tried to revive racism in a time where tolerance was on the rise. Think about it for a moment. There is no question that this election is historic. Even if McCain somehow pulls out a win, it will still be historic. We have the first black candidate on a major party ticket, so future generations will learn from it. When asked about their opponent, does John McCain want them to cite all the racist comments and actions done by his supporters? Does he want them to learn that his campaign did nothing to quell this hatred?

McCain/Palin Republican Physically Assaults Obama Canvasser

Posted 10/19/08 at 3:07pm by jamie

The hatred and violence promoted by John McCain and Sarah Palin continues:

Police in Caledonia are investigating the assault of a campaign volunteer as she was canvassing for Senator Barack Obama Saturday afternoon.

In an exclusive interview with 12 News, 58 year-old Nancy Takehara of Chicago says she was going door-to-door when she came across a disgruntled homeowner.

“The next thing I know he’s telling us we’re not his people, we’re probably with ACORN, and he started screaming and raving,” Takehara said. “He grabbed me by the back of the neck. I thought he was going to rip my hair out of my head. He was pounding on my head and screaming. The man terrified me.”

The man eventually stopped and the Caledonia police were called. Takehara was asked if she needed medical assistance, but she was not seriously injured. Instead, she says she was shaken up by the homeowner’s reaction.

These are the very people McCain has said publicly he is "proud" of. I believe it's time for our nation's leaders to step up and publicly denounce these actions. McCain's supporters are turning us into a third world nation and should be ashamed. They are acting as terrorists and maybe we just found a new use for Gitmo.

Does Palin Really Want To Talk About Rev. Wright?

Posted 10/6/08 at 5:31pm by jamie

Really? Should we start talking more about her pastor problem? Oh but wait. The Republicans want you to be pissed off because Jeremiah Wright said "God damn America" at a sermon Obama wasn't even present for.

So did Wright say something like, "The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government"? How about "I won't be buried under their [America's] damn flag"? Nope. ThosAlaskan Independence Partye were all by the founder of the Alaskan Independence Party, and Todd Palin was a member of them. Here's even a video of Palin praising the group that hates America:

So does she really want to get into this game? I got a feeling Obama could really unleash and destroy and political future she thinks she has outside of Alaska.

John McCain Shows His Hatred Of Democracy

Posted 9/6/08 at 6:42pm by jamie

The very basis of a democracy is the ability of its people to be able to select leaders based up on the best information available. By John McCain hiding Sarah Palin from the press, he is inhibiting the people from getting to know the person who wants to be the next vice-President of the United States. Why is John McCain standing in between America and democracy? I would love to hear the media start posing this question.

Is This How McCain Intends To Win Hearts And Minds?

Posted 7/18/08 at 2:00pm by jamie

By having one of his surrogates out there saying the "Muslims are going to kill us all":

One of John McCain's fellow POW's in Vietnam defended the war in Iraq, saying, "The Muslims have said either we kneel or they're going to kill us.''

In a phone call with reporters arranged by the McCain campaign, Colonel Bud Day added: "I don't intend to kneel and I don't advocate to anybody that we kneel, and John doesn't advocate to anybody that we kneel.''

Muslim leaders have complained that they have been villified as terrorists since the Sept. 11 attacks.

The Republicans are bound and determined to turn this whole thing into a holy war. Bud Day is another example of right wing hysteria surrounding Muslims, and should heed a strong warning against the future if McCain becomes our next President.

It also shows why so many Muslim leaders support Obama for President. Obama doesn't spew this hatred out, nor believe it, like McCain and his ilk. Besides, if we really believed that and ended up wining a war against all Muslims, what religion would be next? I'm sure we would find someone to go after.
