This Man Wants To Be President?
John McCain trying to talk his way out of his "Christian President" comment:
Later, McCain said, "I would vote for a Muslim if he or she was the candidate best able to lead the country and defend our political values." He added that "the Constitution established the United States of America as a Christian nation."
Which part of the Constitution says that we are a Christian nation? This man swore an oath to uphold the Constitution when he became a Senator and he made this comment? Pandering to the Christian right should not mean selling your soul. John McCain has just proven he will say anything to win votes. Talk about someone who has taken a serious fall. This man is now a disgrace!
