The Best Line From Last Night's Debate
Had to come from John Edwards. It was when Hilary and Obama was asked about people not wanting a woman or black for President. Edwards said "if someone won't vote for Hilary because she is a woman, or Obama because he is black then I don't want their vote".
I am a big Edwards fan, and have been rather disappointed in his past debate appearances. Last night he brought his game with him and it showed.
What is funny is that all the pundits say Hilary won (and she did do a good job), but when voters were asked by CNN around the country they all said Obama, with Edwards coming in second. Ironically CNN made sure they said the polling of voters watching the debate wasn't a scientific result. Well neither is asking some paid pundit. The media needs to stop trying to steer the debates to their desired outcome. This has become a dangerous tone set by all the media debates, with the exception of the PBS one.
