Stoopid Racists

This has had me laughing for awhile now:

buchanan

“Conferenece”? Sure misspellings happen. Hell I’ve had a lot, but the sweet irony here is that this banner was hanging above Pat Buchanan and Peter Brimelow arguing for English-only initiatives.

And with Buchanan always showing his pride for his racism, why does MSNBC still have him on? I never see any Black Panthers on MSNBC regularly. I really think its time they cut this old hater loose.

New Obama Campaign Theme

"Buy American, Vote Obama" is the new theme that the Obama campaign is rolling out in Pennsylvania this weekend. I am glad to see the return of "Buy American" in our political discussion. I remember back in the 80's people around here drove about an hour over to Indiana to buy American at a store that prided itself on selling American only products. That store? Wal-mart - the poster child of imported products.

It seems that we have really lost the pride we once had in American craftsmenship. It also seems like the Republicans love to promote this turn away from products made at home in their endless push in increase the global economy. Yeah we might save a few cents at the store, but the products aren't as good and we have become number 2 in the world when it comes to manufacturing, falling to China.

Stop The Damn Lying!

Hillary has constantly talked about her Bosnia trip as First Lady and "landing under sniper fire". She started that months ago and continued it this week:

I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base. But it was a moment of great pride for me to visit our troops, not only in our main base as Tuzla, but also at two outposts where they were serving in so many capacities to deactivate and remove landmines, to hunt and seek out those who had not complied with the Dayton Accords and put down their arms, and to build relationships with the people that might lead to a peace for them and their children.

Now let's look at that "sniper fire" they landed under:

If by "sniper fire" you mean greeted with a large reception and hugged by children, then ok, I can buy it. But that isn't the intention. The intention is to lie and deceive the American people, and that can not be tolerated.

I am seriously considering what will happen if Hillary does some how cheat Obama out of the nomination. If that happens, I just may find myself campaigning for Ralph Nader. Between these common lies and Bill pulling out right wing smears of attacking Obama as being "not loving America", I have had enough of them.
