Edited Video Of Michele Bachmann And The Hypocrisy Of The Right

Posted 8/30/11 at 12:18pm by jamie

The big scandal going on now is a video of Michele Bachman speaking at an event over the weekend, where it was edited to make it appear as though she said “who likes white people”. Here’s the video from Perez Hilton:

However the full video shows an entirely different statement. While the rain was pouring down, Bachmann said “who likes wet people”.

The original video was shot by Robert Stacy McCain of The Other McCain. McCain is shocked that someone would do this to his video too:

The Wingnut’s Pull The “My Wife Ran Into The Door Knob” Defense Over Last Night’s Assault

randpaulviolence102510-cropped-proto-custom_2Unbelievable:

I’m hesitant to jump to conclusions about what actually happened in this kind of made-for-TV publicity stunt. Who were these “Rand Paul supporters” who roughed up MoveOn.org activist Lauren Valle? Why did police question Valle, and not the guys who roughed her up? At any rate, I remember when Alex Jones sicced a mob on Michelle Malkin during a protest at the 2008 Democrat convention in Denver. Malkin did nothing at all to provoke that attack.

That’s wingnut hero Robert Stacy McCain for ya. It reminds me of the husband telling the police his wife got the black eye from running into the door knob.

And why did the police question the victim? Maybe because she was just assaulted?

Valle reported the incident to Lexington police.

Nice way to spin the brutal assault of a female. This is in typical, right-wing fashion and not to be unexpected.

Charles Johnson Lays Out His Reasons For Parting With The Wingnuts

Posted 12/1/09 at 9:30am by jamie

One of the biggest turnarounds in the blogosphere this year has been that of Little Green Footballs and their head honcho Charles Johnson. As this year has progressed we have seen Johnson break more and more with the wingnuts and conservatives on issues. Last night he laid out his reasons:

1. Support for fascists, both in America (see: Pat Buchanan, Robert Stacy McCain, etc.) and in Europe (see: Vlaams Belang, BNP, SIOE, Pat Buchanan, etc.)

2. Support for bigotry, hatred, and white supremacism (see: Pat Buchanan, Ann Coulter, Robert Stacy McCain, Lew Rockwell, etc.)

3. Support for throwing women back into the Dark Ages, and general religious fanaticism (see: Operation Rescue, anti-abortion groups, James Dobson, Pat Robertson, Tony Perkins, the entire religious right, etc.)

4. Support for anti-science bad craziness (see: creationism, climate change denialism, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, James Inhofe, etc.)

Read on…

Needless to say this post has sparked a lot of outrage from the wingnuts. An example of this outrage comes from Robert Stacy McCain:

What obtrudes in CJ's hate-list modus operandi is that he cannot rationally prioritize dangers. Pamela Geller, creationists, Tea Party crowds, global-warming skeptics and Sarah Palin are, in the demented mind of Mad King Charles, as dangerous as al Qaeda. Or me.

Save The Rich!

To prove this is a meme of the Republican Party just take a look at this blog post by Robert Stacy McCain (wingnut extraordinaire!):

Let me explain something to you, David Axelrod: Obama and the Democrats didn't "cut taxes" in a way that will stimulate economic growth. They didn't reduce or eliminate the capital gains tax. They didn't reduce or eliminate the corporate tax. Most of all, they didn't reduce the top marginal rate.

He is going after David Axelrod talking about the tax cut for 95% of Americans. See – the Republicans don’t care about 95% of the country. Instead they only worry about that top 5% and the big corporations. Screw everyone else.

Now I wonder how many of these wingnuts are gladly accepting the tax cuts under Obama? If they really believe what they say, then shouldn’t they give the money back, or better yet – donate it to a mega corporation of their choice? Prove you mean what you write. Yeah – I doubt that will happen.

Those Little Wingnuts

Such cute fuckers. Take Robert Stacy McCain. Here’s a main that goes out of his way to avoid the work fuck:

Hell, no! Why the f--- should I lay off a reporter when that g--d--- piece of s--- David Brooks is collecting $300,000 a year to produce two columns of nothingness a week? You can fire me if you want to, or I'll just quit right here and now, because I'll be g--d----d if I'll lay off one more reporter as long as that useless motherf----r David Brook is on the payroll!

But yet he doesn’t mind having things like this on his blog:

mccainblog

And this isn’t an ad. It’s something he actually added. One can only guess that this epitome of right wing blogs sits there looking at this picture and thinking “wow I would just love to f___ her all night. She knows she wants my g_d c_ck.”. Now I wonder if he says that quote literally, or does he fill in the blanks?

Oh – and why does Malkin send people to this guys blog showing that picture? I guess this is part of the whole “family values” thing they push so hard. She does warn them about the profanity (err – blanks), but not about the half naked lady on his site. Maybe Malkin is also saying that same quote that McCain is.
