Tea Party darling, Rand Paul, told Sean Hannity the following:
PAUL: I’m not for profiling people on the color of their skin, or on their religion, but I would take into account where they’ve been traveling and perhaps, you might have to indirectly take into account whether or not they’ve been going to radical political speeches by religious leaders. It wouldn’t be that they are Islamic. But if someone is attending speeches from someone who is promoting the violent overthrow of our government, that’s really an offense that we should be going after — they should be deported or put in prison.
Of course if Rand Paul had his way, he would be one of the first to be put in jail. He isn’t the only one either. Suggesting a violent overthrow of the government has been spewed from other Tea Party candidates.
And look at Rand Paul has said. It’s not the people who make the speech. He is wanting to arrest the people in attendance as well. This fuck-nut considers himself a “constitutionalist”, yet he wants to arrest people for listening to others exercise their first amendment right.
But hey, maybe we should enact this so that all the teabaggers out there can get prosecuted. It is their hero that has suggested it after all.
