From Bush’s radio address today:

The message of this week’s elections is clear: the American people want their leaders in Washington to set aside partisan differences, conduct ourselves in an ethical manner, and work together to address the challenges facing our Nation. This is important work that will demand the hard effort and good faith of leaders from both sides of the aisle, and I pledge to do my part.

(emphasis mine)

This has to be one of the most idiotic things ever said by a United States President. Does he really think it takes a message from the voters to tell them to work in an “ethical manner”? Wasn’t this also the same thing he ran on in 2000? So he admitted lying to the American people again. He did nothing to clean Washington up, and in fact made it more corrupt. This clown hit every branch of the stupid tree on his way to the bottom.
