Just a quick thought. Yesterday the news came out that Cheney has a blood clot in his leg. This is considered rather serious considering his medical history.

Today his former top aide is convicted with obstruction of justice. Basically we all know Cheney told Libby about Plame. Libby has gone down to protect Cheney. Cheney will now have to answer.

So that leaves us with a serious question. Will Cheney step down and take one for the team? I don’t think it is very likely, but it is possible. The next fews days will be very interesting.
