That is the new word going around. Food prices are going to go up because of an extra demand for ethanol and alternative fuels. The use of corn in these fuels is going to cause food prices to rise.

I have a suggestion for the food industry to offset these prices. Get rid of the high fructose corn syrup you put in everything! This stuff is garbage and adding to the obesity problem this nation has.

As a diabetic I read food labels religiously. Start looking at them and see how many contain HFCS. If you don’t want to do that then here is a list of the more common items containing this fat making chemical.

I can tell you from experience that eating a meal with this garbage in it will raise your blood sugar significantly. Hell – we don’t have to worry about terrorists getting into our food supply. We already have terrorists making the food!
