John McCain "Hates" Me

Actually he said: JOHN MCCAIN: “Now we’ve got the cables. We’ve got talk radio. We’ve got the bloggers. I hate the bloggers. JOHN MCCAIN: “Now we’ve got the cables. We’ve got talk radio. We’ve got the bloggers. I hate the bloggers. We’ve got all kinds of sources of information.”

So he hates all of us who blog, and most likely the people who also follow the blogs.

John McCain hates citizens of this country? That’s pretty harsh words for someone who wants to be President. What if Obama said “I hate neo-cons”? The right, along with the media, would bury him alive for it.

I know the defenders will say “he was just joking”, but hate is something to not joke about. For a man running for the highest public office in our land to joke about something like this, at an open forum, shows there must be truth behind it.

Perhaps McCain should be reminded of a little Shakespeare, who said:

In time we hate that which we often fear

So no John – you don’t hate us; you fear us. You fear the people who are breaking down the faux image you have created for yourself. You say you are a straight talker, well we prove where you flip-flop on countless occasions. You try to take credit for something and we show the people that you didn’t do it.

Finally think about this. It John McCain is willing to say this about the people he wants to lead, what will he say about other nation’s he don’t agree with? This man will be a greater diplomatic failure than our current President, and America can not handle that.
