Considering all the media has been able to talk about is the fact that there was a choice to be made for the House Majority Leader, it is apparent the Democrats are doing a great job. Even today on This Week, the talk with new Majority Leader Steny Hoyer was about the vote. It is amazing that all the media can focus on is this and that it is somehow a show of a “divide” in the new Democratic house. Of course they didn’t pay this much attention last winter when John Boehner was elected to succeed Tom Delay and there were numerous problems in the close vote, including more votes cast than Republican members of the House. That is the so called “liberal bias” of the media for you.
