He is the defacto nominee of the Republican party, yet voters aren’t buying it. They voted for Huckabee yesterday – the third place candidate prior to Romney dropping out. Even the neo-cons at CPAC aren’t buying into McCain. In their straw poll this weekend, they voted for the guy who dropped out – Mitt Romney. This shows a severely splintered Republican party. Tuesday is going to be a real tell-tale sign for McCain and the Republicans over all.
