I must admit that I really didn’t know too much about Chris Dodd when he entered the race, and from what I did know, I had mixed feelings on. Lately he has taken the initiative on some really important actions in Senate. First he vowed to block the FISA bill because of the telecom immunity, and now he is blocking the confirmation of Mukasey because of the torture issue.

What I find most interesting, and exciting about Dodd is that he is leading these fights. Hillary and Obama seem to come late to the party. Instead of leading, they are following a 3rd tier candidate. I hope more Democrats take note of that before the primaries.
