Bush: America is a Country of Laws

During his weekly radio address, President Bush talked about the immigration
problem. While he talked about his plans he did not bring any thing new to the
table. You can read the entire transcript
here.

There was one sentence that caught my eye and I think is pertinent to the
atmosphere in the White House right now.

America is a country of laws; we must not allow dishonest employers to
flout those laws.

Gee Mr. Bush, do you think you could follow that same advice in your own
administration? You actually have the nerve to say that to the American people
on the very week that we found out your knew about Karl Roves involvement in the
leak case and were upset more so because he got caught instead of the fact that
he broke the law.

Mr. Bush, America is a country of laws. We have numerous laws and it seems
like the party you represent is in trouble for possible violations of these
laws. Do you really feel you should be talking about laws with this problem
going on? Perhaps you are trying to “catapult your propaganda” that Americans
should follow laws while in your heart you feel politicians and your staff
shouldn’t.

While you are away at Camp David this weekend Mr. Bush, I think you need to
really do some thinking about laws and how the laws your own staff has broken
crippled the intelligence community of this country. You need to really collect
yourself and figure out how your going to explain to the American people that
you allowed these individuals to continue to work in the White House knowing
that they had in fact broken laws.

I call you Mr. Bush now because you no longer deserve the title of President.
A President is someone of honor, integrity and sets an example for his people.
These are qualities in which you highly lack. Perhaps it is time for you to be
removed from office for your continual lies and deceit in which you have led
this great nation.
