FOX Hunt

And FOX is getting caught:

Bottom line is that Fox News is in for a very rough 2008. And the umbrella reason for that is quite simple: Eight years ago the all-news cable channel went all-in on the presidency of George W. Bush and became a broadcast partner with the White House. Proof of that was on display Sunday night, Jan. 27, during Fox News’ prime-time “Fighting to the Finish,” a “historic documentary” on the final year of Bush’s presidency. Filmed in HD and featuring “unprecedented access,” according to the Fox News press release, the show was pure propaganda. (I must have missed Fox News’ “Fighting to the Finish” special back in 2000, chronicling the conclusion of President Bill Clinton’s second term and his “extraordinarily consequential tenure.”)

So as the Bush presidency goes, so will the FOX “news” dominance. I have to give FOX credit – they were the best at exploiting 9/11, even better than 9iu11ani. It’s human nature when something scary happens to want to be scared more. Think about watching a scary movie. People who are scared cover their eyes, yet they still peek. FOX became the horror show of cable news and profited big from it.

It’s not that people aren’t scared as much anymore, it’s just that they have new fears. One of those big fears is the economy. Every news show out there is talking about the problems with the economy, while FOX is out there lying and saying “the economy is great – it’s just a myth”. See they can’t sell fear on this issue because it doesn’t look good for Bush.
