Why Are Republicans The Biggest Wimps In The Country?

The right is up in arms over last night’s debate:

ABC News commentator George Stephanopoulos directed pointed, hard-edged questions to Republican presidential candidates during Saturday night’s New Hampshire debate, often attacking without providing evidence to justify his broadsides.

When questioning former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Stephanopoulos, a former senior advisor in the administration of Democratic President Bill Clinton, premised some inquiries on the assertion — offered without supporting facts — that Romney’s job-creation statistics were inaccurate.

“Now, there have been questions about that calculation of 100,000 jobs. So if you could explain it a little more,” Stephanopoulos asked Romney of the former governor’s claims about jobs created by companies he has helmed. “I’ve read some analysts who look at it and say that you’re counting the jobs that were created but not counting the jobs that were taken away. Is that accurate?”

“No, it’s not accurate,” Romney bluntly responded. “It includes the net of both. I’m a good enough numbers guy to make sure I got both sides of that.”

OMG Romney got asked a question. Boo-fucking-hoo! The fact is that this has been questioned, rather highly. It has also been fact checked and found that Romney is not being honest about the numbers.

Then we get to where the Republicwhaaaaas really have their panties in a bunch:

Aides to Gov. Mitt Romney were left shaking their heads late Saturday night after a question directed to Romney by ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos on the issue of contraception. After the debate, one top Romney aide suggested Stephanopoulos has a “strange obsession” with contraception and called the query “the oddest question in a debate this year.”

In the debate’s second segment, Stephanopoulos noted that GOP candidate Rick Santorum has criticized Supreme Court rulings on the issue of privacy. Stephanopoulos turned to Romney and said, “Governor Romney, do you believe that states have the right to ban contraception? Or is that trumped by a constitutional right to privacy?”

Romney looked both amused and perplexed at the same time. “George, this is an unusual topic that you’re raising,” he said. Romney explained that no state has any intention of banning contraception, but Stephanopoulos pressed the question again. “George, I don’t know whether a state has a right to ban contraception,” Romney said. “No state wants to. I mean, the idea of you putting forward things that states might want to do that no state wants to do and asking me whether they could do it or not is a kind of silly thing.” Later, an exasperated Romney concluded, “Contraception — it’s working just fine. Just leave it alone.” The crowd applauded.

Grow the fuck up, Mitt!

Romney’s biggest challenger has states that he wants contraception banned, taking us back to the dark ages. It’s a very big issue and one that can differentiate between the two candidates. Romney thinks it’s an “unusual topic”? Well Rick Santorum doesn’t. He wants government to further interfere with the lives of Americans by seeing contraception banned, so get on Santorum and his draconian views of government.

But none of this should be a shock. These Republican candidates agreed to these debates, as well as the RNC, yet we constantly hear them cry foul afterwards. I’ve asked it before and I’ll ask it again – if these candidates can’t handle the media, how can we expect them to handle terrorists or rogue nations? They are the biggest bunch of cowardly cry-babies I can ever remember coming out of the GOP and if I were a Republican I would be afraid to admit it. They are really an embarrassment as men and Americans.
