Last night Bush told America that he would start drawing down the surge in Iraq. Today that looks like another lie Bush told the American people.

Rep. Ron Lewis (R-KY) has announced he won’t run for re-election. This brings the total number of Republicans in the House not running to 26.

He signed one today on the defense act waiving the ban on permanent bases in Iraq. So I guess we are in Iraq indefinitely. Will Pelosi and Reid do anything now? Nope..
