'Purveyor Of Hate Speech'

Misc

Old Willy Cunningham just can’t get a break, and rightfully so. For anyone that lives in the Cincinnati area, they know the name and know the hate this man spews. At times he is more over the edge than Hannity and Limbaugh combined. But old Willy finally admits what those others won’t – that his […]

Save The White Collar

Misc

That’s what it seems like the Republicans are heading for – a policy of saving white collar jobs, while letting blue collar workers hit the unemployment lines: Top Republican senators said Sunday they will oppose a Democratic plan to bail out Detroit automakers, calling the U.S. industry a “dinosaur” whose “day of reckoning” is coming. […]

Another Church Pedo Goes Down

Misc

This time it happened a couple of miles from me: A former Hamilton resident who worked the audio-visual system for an area church allegedly sent child pornography while on the job. Albert Jefferson Stone, 28, of Harrison Avenue in Cincinnati was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 12, by the FBI and charged in U.S. District Court with […]

Welcome Back Keating

Misc

Charles Keating’s law firm has made donations topping $50,000 to the McCain campaign. I don’t really think Obama should go negative, but if he targeted the Keating story in the Cincinnati area it could deliver him a very red part of Ohio. A lot of people in the Cincinnati area lost their life savings because […]

And I Am Back

Misc

After a little more than six days, I am back online. It’s amazing seeing what that wind storm that hit last Sunday did to the Greater Cincinnati area. There are still tens of thousands without power. There is also a lot of finger pointing going on about who is to blame for the extended repair […]

Limited Posting

Misc

We had hurricane Ike hit us hard yesterday. The Cincinnati area was experiencing wind gusts up to 80mph, something unheard of in this area. Luckily I did get power back after about 12 hours, but still no internet (stuck doing this via dial-up). Normal posting will hopefully resume in the next day or so.

Your Tax Dollars At Work In Cincinnati

Misc

The Hamilton County Republican Party, which is the Cincinnati area, just got busted for using $800 of tax payers money to have a party. On Feb. 17, 2007, the Republicans’ executive committee met at the Queen City Club on Fourth Street, and spent $307 on hors d’oeuvers, $282 for an open bar, $95 for a […]

DSC_2328 Originally uploaded by intoxination Here’s one of the shots I got Friday night at the annual Red, White and Kaboom festival in Hamilton, Ohio. We have one of the better 4th of July festivals in the Greater Cincinnati area. I actually had a few shots come out really nice. I was stuck kind of […]

Steve Chabot Sides With Democrats On Foreclosure Protection

Misc

This is rather shocking. Chabot is a staunch conservative, but this looks to be the reasons he is siding with Democrats: But when foreclosures in his hometown of Cincinnati skyrocketed, Chabot found himself aligned with Democrats – and against his party’s leaders, his conservative colleagues and the White House. I can say firsthand that foreclosures […]

Bush's Economy Is Just So Great

Misc

Really. Just look at the news yesterday. First off the dollar hit a record low. That occurred on the same day that oil hit a record high of $98.00 a barrel (and expected to go past the $100 mark today). This sounds bad, but if you ask anyone in the administration they will tell you […]
