The polls are starting to break more for Obama. Here is what we have so far today: Rasmussen: 36% say Obama won the debate, compared to 33% for McCain. Obama leading by 50%-44% in the daily tracker. Obama Ahead By 11% In Gallup Daily Tracker

Misc

This is the biggest margin to date for Obama. I guess the pundits blew it again. It seems that the “bitter” comment isn’t hurting Obama, like they all claimed it would. As matter of fact, the AP is finding out that there isn’t much impact at all: Yes, some Democrats in Pennsylvania’s Rust Belt communities […]

Spin It Lanny!

Misc

Lanny Davis posted a blog on The Hill today entitled: Recent Polling Data Show Serious Concerns About Sen. Obama’s ‘Electability’ Over Sen. McCain vs. Sen. Clinton’s (Lanny Davis) Very interesting. I saw that and thought there was a bunch of polls I missed. Quickly I went to Real Clear Politics and looked at the recent […]

Take The Polls With A Grain Of Salt

Misc

There is a lot of talk about the latest Gallup daily tracker showing Clinton opening up a lead over Obama yesterday. Here’s the problem though – the polls have been wrong. I’m not dissing the pollsters on this, it’s an extremely complex year to poll. With record levels of new registrations and people declaring and/or […]

Obama Closing The Gap

Two new polls out this morning showing Obama catching up to Hillary. The first one, from Rasmussen, shows Obama now trailing Clinton by 3 points in California. On the national front Obama is now only six points behind Hillary according to Gallup. A week ago Clinton had a 20 point lead in the same poll.

So how is the Right's Smear Against Clinton Going?

Misc

Buried at the bottom of the survey is this interesting finding: So Republicans blame Bush by a margin of more than 2:1 than Democrats that blame Clinton. The Independent column is also very comforting. No matter how hard the Republicans try to rewrite […]

Majority Disapprove Of Latest NSA Scandal

Misc

USA Today/Gallup has a new poll out showing a majority of Americans disapprove of the NSA phone collection and an even larger majority want hearings. Atrios has all the details on it. This shows us now that America is not pleased and should show the Washington Post that you can not run a poll on […]

Here is more polling data that was compiled on the Washington Post’s blog by Chris Cillizza. Even More Polling Data

Misc

HTML Source EditorWord wrap With all the talk of polling today, there seems to be one polling company that has been overlooked. That is Rasmussen. I decided to take a look and see what the right wing polling company has to say about Bush’s approval right now. Their result is what you see to the […]
