So Is This Our Victory In Iraq?

Misc

I certainly hope not: The images in the Basra police file are nauseating: Page after page of women killed in brutal fashion — some strangled to death, their faces disfigured; others beheaded. Wingers Go Crazy Over Randi Rhodes Skit

Misc

Randi did a skit yesterday saying that Romney supporters will go on killing sprees and commit mass suicide if McCain becomes the nominee. Of course the wingnuts are going crazy over this. Here is the skit: I don’t see anything to outrageous in this. She is making fun of what people like Rush Limbaugh has […]

Why The Clinton/Obama Battle Hurts

Misc

In my earlier post, someone asked a very good question: I don’t really understand how it hurts the Democrats to not have a nominee yet? It shows how much the Democrats are involved in this election and wanting things to change. Let me take a moment to explain further why it’s harmful for Democrats to […]

Delegate Counts

Misc

Right now Clinton is in the lead with 783 delegates. 590 of those are pledged with 193 being super delegates. Obama has 709 with 603 pledged and 106 super delegates. Moral of that story? Super delegates are deciding this race, not the voters. On the Republican side: McCain 559 Romney 265 Huckabee 169 Paul 16

Some Very Early Exit Poll Results

Misc

MyDD has a round of very early Democratic numbers. Everything looks neck in neck there. The interesting numbers are at NRO, where it doesn’t appear that McCain could be running away with it as much as people were expecting. Still, everything is very early and it’s going to be an interesting night.

Is Ed Schultz Channeling Limbaugh?

Misc

I ask this question in all seriousness. I don’t listen to Schultz that much, but lately it seems like every time I turn him on he is on some Hillary bashing binge. He is starting to sound more like Limbaugh, and his McCain attacks, everyday. Is Ed pissed because Hillary blew him off on an […]
