We heard so much over the past couple of months of how popular Palin is in her state. Well Alaska ended up voting for McCain 62%-36%. For a traditionally ruby red state in which their “most popular governor” was on the ticket, that doesn’t seem like a lot.

I just saw this on DKos: There is no argument that this country has denounced the Republican Party’s platform. Now it is up to us to keep this trend going into 2010 and beyond.

So we are starting to get an insight into an Obama administration. This has already sent right wingers over the edge. This morning Joe Scarborough was bitching about it saying that Emanuel was nothing but a partisan, pointing to his time chairing the DCCC. In comparison I guess Karl Rove was the epitome of partisanship?

The White House got surrounded by a huge crowd chanting “Obama” last night:

More than 130 million people voted yesterday, and a lot of ballots are still being counted. That is giving us an estimated 64% of voter turnout yesterday. Not only did Obama win, but America won with so many citizens now engaging in their democracy.
