$5.7 Million In 24 Hours

Misc

That’s how much Obama has raised online in the past 24 hours. That is truly amazing. His campaign deserves major props for harnessing the power of the internet the way they have.

Republicans Worried Over Fraud Investigation

Misc

Last week I posted about the investigation into possible fraud in the NRCC. Now The Politio has more. It turns out that this fraud may go back several years and a lot of high ranking Republicans are “scared” over it. Nothing like some election year drama.

Republican Compassion Deals Another Blow

Misc

So much compassion that they filibuster helping out our vets, elderly and poor: Senate Republicans blocked a move by Democrats on Wednesday to add more than $40 billion in checks for the elderly, disabled veterans and the unemployed to a bill to stimulate the economy. The 58-41 vote fell just short of the 60 required […]

The MIchigan/Florida Mess

Misc

This is becoming more of a mess by the day: It never did made sense to write off the Democratic primary votes in Florida and Michigan – and it makes even less sense now that Super Tuesday has brought forth a muddle in the delegate race. Even the party official who stripped Florida and Michigan […]

Clinton Already Took Out $5 Million

Misc

Earlier today I talked about a rumor that Clinton might put $5 million of her own money into her campaign. Within minutes it was reported that Clinton actually already did that and it was last month. Some More Thoughts On The Race

Misc

First off I got a new delegate tracker in the side bar. It’s based off of numbers from CNN. Going through everything, they seem to be the closest we will get to an accurate count. The Clinton campaign has to be worried after yesterday. When you consider that she only won the popular vote by […]

Delegate Counts

Misc

Right now Clinton is in the lead with 783 delegates. 590 of those are pledged with 193 being super delegates. Obama has 709 with 603 pledged and 106 super delegates. Moral of that story? Super delegates are deciding this race, not the voters. On the Republican side: McCain 559 Romney 265 Huckabee 169 Paul 16
