That’s your Republican Party in action. Now they are putting telecom immunity ahead of economic stimulus. Get that? They are saying if the telecom companies can’t have protection from breaking the law constitution, then they will hurt the entire economy.
The bill is coming up. The immunity has survived it’s first hurdle. It is looking more like Dodd will have to filibuster it. Will Obama and Clinton come off the campaign trail to stand up against this gift to the telecom companies?
The Senate will start debating FISA again very soon. Hopefully we will get our two Democratic presidential candidates, that are also in Senate, to take a break and head to D.C. to help block the immunity for telecom companies.
