Republican Tradesmen?

Misc

This seems rather ironic, but during the election we all learned about Joe “the Plumber”, the McCain poster child/supporter who turned out to not even be a plumber. He never completed the state requirements to become a journeyman plumber in his allowed time frame as an apprentice. Now we fast forward a couple of months […]

The Truth Hurts

Misc

Booman hits a tone of truthiness that won’t sit well with the blogosphere: James Kirchick likes to crow about how the Netroots don’t matter. There are a few former (Republican and Democrat) office holders that might beg to differ. But, Kirchick is right about one thing. If Obama listened to the Netroots’ advice all the […]

A Ku Klux Klan Labor Day gathering in Arkansas on Saturday, September 1,
2007. Members and supporting Klan realms from five different states came together for a three-day weekend of racial unity. The gathering included BBQ’s, games, fellowship, an award ceremony and a Klan naturalization. A historical cannon was fired every hour on the hour during daylight hours, until local neighbors complained. Saturday evening closed with a cross lighting ceremony which, according to Klan beliefs, dispels darkness and ignorance. Due to a statewide burn ban, the lighting was done with Christmas tree lights. **German Language Out** ** No Tabloids**

Racist America

Misc

The AP has taken a big look into the ‘hundreds’ of racial threats and crimes that have occurred since Obama became our President-elect: From California to Maine, police have documented a range of alleged crimes, from vandalism and vague threats to at least one physical attack. Insults and taunts have been delivered by adults, college […]

Who Was At Fault In Georgia?

Misc

McCain campaigned hard against Russia following the Georgia conflict this summer, so its no shock this information comes out after the election: Newly available accounts by independent military observers of the beginning of the war between Georgia and Russia this summer call into question the longstanding Georgian assertion that it was acting defensively against separatist […]

The Venom Of Those McCain/Palin Rallies

Misc

This is very disturbing from Newsweek: The Obama campaign was provided with reports from the Secret Service showing a sharp and disturbing increase in threats to Obama in September and early October, at the same time that many crowds at Palin rallies became more frenzied. Michelle Obama was shaken by the vituperative crowds and the […]

How Popular Is Palin In Alaska?

Misc

We heard so much over the past couple of months of how popular Palin is in her state. Well Alaska ended up voting for McCain 62%-36%. For a traditionally ruby red state in which their “most popular governor” was on the ticket, that doesn’t seem like a lot.

Here's How Sick The McCain/Palin Republicans Are

Misc

Here is what a McCain/Palin Republican posted on Hot Air regarding the passing of Obama’s grandmother: (click for full size) Yes this is how the McCain/Palin Republicans think and feel about life. It is truly disgusting and the campaign has done nothing to stop it. (Again – I know the campaign is not tied to […]

Those Final Polls

Misc

USA Today/Gallup’s final poll has Obama 53%, McCain 42%. This is a trend we been seeing in the final polls. McCain’s argument of the polls tightening have been nullified. Of course it’s up to all of us to make sure these numbers stick or are exceeded. Remember to get out and vote tomorrow and offer […]
