She May Go Away But The Ethics Complaints Keep On Coming

Misc

Despite Palin’s announced resignation, she is still getting hit with ethics complaints: Zane Henning — a conservative government watchdog from the governor’s hometown of Wasilla and an oilfield worker on Alaska’s North Slope — asserts in a letter to Alaska Attorney General Daniel S. Sullivan that Palin has “been charging and pocketing per diem to […]

Despicable

Misc

I’m going to join the right in the outrage over a post that appeared on Huffington Post for a short time yesterday. Allahpundit captured a screen grab of it: The author, Erik Sean Nelson, decided to poke some fun at Palin while also insulting the mentally retarded. How does the HuffPo handle something like this? […]

Palin’s Use Of Family

Misc

Reading the latest interview with Levi Johnston something really caught my eye: At the time, the Palins insinuated he’d have to move to D.C. if McCain won. “I ain’t never moving,” he says with a shudder, thinking back. So the Palin’s were telling him where he and his bride would have to live? I don’t […]

Oh You Done It Now Levi!

Misc

It looks like RedState master mind Erik Erickson has declared war on Levi Johnson (via Sully): The real Levi Johnson is something altogether different. The left, when it decided Bristol Palin was fair game, went after Levi Johnson for being a thug and redneck. He was not interested in college — only in scoring with […]

Family Values!!!!

Misc

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston have reportedly broken off their engagement. I’m sure it will be back on just in time for Palin’s 2012 run though.

Party Changes Happening

Misc

Howard Dean is now out as the head of the DNC and now we got Tim Kaine poised to take over the party. I think Kaine is an excellent pick. He has great fund raising potential, and it might help keep Virginia blue. But over on the Republican side, things are more interesting. It looks […]

Palin = Reagan = Jefferson

Misc

Yup – that’s what the foundation of right wing idiocy, the National Review, is pushing, along with an attempt to get Time Magazine to name Palin “Person of the Year”. What’s one of their qualifying factors? On the lighter side, one foreign-policy expert showed up for a panel in a towel (but fully clothed underneath) […]

A Ku Klux Klan Labor Day gathering in Arkansas on Saturday, September 1,
2007. Members and supporting Klan realms from five different states came together for a three-day weekend of racial unity. The gathering included BBQ’s, games, fellowship, an award ceremony and a Klan naturalization. A historical cannon was fired every hour on the hour during daylight hours, until local neighbors complained. Saturday evening closed with a cross lighting ceremony which, according to Klan beliefs, dispels darkness and ignorance. Due to a statewide burn ban, the lighting was done with Christmas tree lights. **German Language Out** ** No Tabloids**

Racist America

Misc

The AP has taken a big look into the ‘hundreds’ of racial threats and crimes that have occurred since Obama became our President-elect: From California to Maine, police have documented a range of alleged crimes, from vandalism and vague threats to at least one physical attack. Insults and taunts have been delivered by adults, college […]

Juicy Information Time

Misc

Now that the election is over we start getting a bigger look into the inner workings of the McCain campaign: Randy Scheunemann, a senior foreign policy adviser to John McCain, was fired from the Arizona senator’s campaign last week for what one aide called “trashing” the campaign staff, three senior McCain advisers tell CNN. One […]

The Venom Of Those McCain/Palin Rallies

Misc

This is very disturbing from Newsweek: The Obama campaign was provided with reports from the Secret Service showing a sharp and disturbing increase in threats to Obama in September and early October, at the same time that many crowds at Palin rallies became more frenzied. Michelle Obama was shaken by the vituperative crowds and the […]
