Bill O’Reilly suggested that the United States “hand over everything to the Iraqis as fast as humanly possible” because “[t]here are so many nuts in the country — so many crazies — that we can’t control them.” O’Reilly has previously called those advocating immediate withdrawal from Iraq “pinheads” and compared them to Hitler appeasers.

One thing does come to mind on this. Remember back a few months ago when that heated exchange happened between O’Reilly and Phil Donahue? (If not you can see it here). O’Reilly got very defensive and told Donahue he needed to watch his mouth because his nephew was going to Iraq to fight. I wonder if O’Reilly’s sudden change of heart has something to do with having family over there now.
