James Webb, the former Navy Secretary under Reagan and an outspoken critic of
the war in Iraq has announced a run for Senate in Virginia, opposing 5 term
Republican Senator George Allen according to the

Richmond Times Dispatch.

This is another great step forward for Democrats. Not only does it put in
some good opposition to Allen, but it also adds to the number of veterans we
have running as Democrats. Seems the military support is sliding more to the
left every day.
