Instead of sitting here typing out my analysis of Bush’s speech tonight, I

Progress who has done an extraordinary job debunking the spin that Bush used
during his address. Also, the AP has an interesting analysis of the address which you can view here.

I do have to say I loved it when the Democrats applauded Bush’s losing the
social security battle. He looked absolutely stomped when that happened. The
last poll I remember on the issue had only 25% of Americans supporting Bush’s
plan so they were representing a vast majority of this country when they did
that.
