The number of people suffering from problems which resulted from bad air around the WTC site is increasing at an alarming rate:
The number of people with medical problems linked to the 9/11 attacks on New York has risen to at least 15,000.
The figure, put together for the BBC, counts those receiving treatment for problems related to breathing in dust.
Many of the victims say the government offered false reassurances that the Manhattan air was safe and are now pursuing a class-action lawsuit.
On Tuesday, a coroner said the death of a policeman who developed a respiratory disease was “directly linked” to 9/11.
Now who will answer to this? The federal government is the ones who said the air was “safe” after the collapses. We now find out it wasn’t. True we know how Bush ignored scientific data and the environment and now the casualty list from this ignorance could be much higher than that of the actual attacks. Congratulations Bush – you might be beating Osama at something finally.
