Cheney made a surprise visit to Pakistan to tell them to get tough on al Qaeda. What is interesting is exactly what he said to them:

Vice President Dick Cheney made an unannounced trip to Pakistan on Monday to deliver what officials in Washington described as an unusually tough message to Gen. Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan, warning him that the newly Democratic Congress could cut aid to his country unless his forces become far more aggressive in hunting down operatives with Al Qaeda.

So you catch that? The Democrats are wanting to get tough on countries harboring terrorists. This is the same party that Cheney and Bush constantly mocks as being the “terrorist appeasers”.

Which party was in control while al Qaeda made their big comeback in power? Oh yeah – the Republicans. Who was responsible for the 9/11 attacks? Oh yeah – al Qaeda.

I guess this means that the party who really wants to get those who caused 9/11 is the Democrats. Thanks Cheney! You just proved that the Republicans are truly the terrorist appeasers.
