Wow! It only seems like an hour ago that McCain said he would debate. And here I thought it was Friday and the debate was tonight!. Where has time gone? Chris Cillizza has some ideas.

I just noticed the on Cillizza’s post that the first comment was at 11:08am today, about 30 minutes before news broke that McCain would debate. Was this ad running the reason McCain ended up debating? If he ended up not showing up, then we would see the “Dewey Defeats Truman” of 2008 emerging.
