More and more Americans are turning to alternative transportation in the face of rising fuel costs, credit crunches, global warming and a crumbling economy. That form of transportation also happens to be my favorite – a bicycle. Perhaps now we can get more work done on bike lanes and different cycling trails. I happen to belong to two organizations that are devoted to just this – Adventure Cycling and Rails to Trails.
