John and I have been working together for almost five years on Crooks and Liars and have become very close during that time. During that time we have transformed Crooks and Liars from a simple blog with downloadable video to a robust community with downloadable and embeddable media, and bigger changes are coming very soon (hence my light blogging lately). Some of the changes we have in the pipeline will not only help secure Crooks and Liars place as a leading blog, but will also open the blogging world up to some new and innovative ideas. I got to say that the work we are doing is a huge challenge, but very rewarding in the end.

John’s father passed away this weekend. I want to extend my thoughts and condolences to him and his family.
