Anyone who has read this blog for awhile should know how I like to talk about other empires in history and their sudden collapses and compare it to the rapid rise of the American empire. Here’s an interesting animation illustrating the fall of some of the biggest empires over the past couple of centuries.

While America isn’t represented yet, we can surely count on it in the future. To keep things in perspective, America has only been an empire for less than a century.
