He was just on MSNBC saying how parents of special needs children will flock to Palin because of her son. Excuse me? Growing up with a special needs brother, I have one of those parents and she can’t stand Palin. I have also spend a lot of time working with special needs kids over the years and most of their parents won’t vote for Palin.

So since they are now considering this a part of her constituency, perhaps it’s time for the media to find out what her position on stem cell research is. A majority of these parents support research that could help their own child, or other children born with special needs.

I could go on about how hollow this claim is, but I think common sense will prevail and show that Chuck Todd sometimes says things, just to be saying things. This was a shining example of that.
