I’ve been looking at local results this morning and have come to one big conclusion – tea baggers love them some socialism!

We had two county wide tax levies here in Butler County, Ohio. One was for the parks system and the other was for senior services. Both levies ended up passing, but when you dig into the precinct by precinct data an interesting pattern emerges. The more conservative areas that helped reelect John Boehner by the widest margins also supported these levies by huge margins. That’s a real tell that you won’t hear about in the media. It will be interesting to see if this is a pattern that occurred in other areas of the country as well.
