WASHINGTON – Before the Pentagon begins reducing troop levels in Iraq next year it probably will increase them this fall to provide extra security for a planned October referendum and a December election, a Pentagon official said Monday.

Funny how things start heating up with Iran and we may be looking at sending more troops into the region. The Pentagon did say reduce troops in Iraq next year. If they move them to Iran then they did what they said – reduced the number of troops in Iraq!
