70% of Americans want an independent commission to look
into the failures of Katrina’s response. Democrats want the same type of
commission. Republicans refuse to allow it to happen.

To further add insult to injury, this will give the power
of subpoenaing witnesses solely to the Republicans. While they are crying about
Democrats making this into a partisan game, it appears that they are the ones
truly doing it. This is a cover up at the top levels of government and every
citizen of this country should be outraged and immediately start calling or
writing your congressman or senator and demand a independent commission to
investigate the response.
