Official A is Rove. Official A is, according to the indictments, the one who
informed Novak of Plame’s identity. This of course shows that Rove is not out of
hot water nor that the investigation is over.

Raw Story, but several newspapers will be breaking this story tomorrow. The
Associated Press is also working on a similar story.

This will make for an interesting trial as Rove will most likely be called in
to testify against Libby. Will Libby take the fall for Rove? That’s the million
dollar question now and with the possibility of 30 years in prison, he just
might end up testifying against Rove.

Keeping in mind that most leaks regarding Rove has originated from his own
legal defense team, this is most likely a true scenario. Perhaps indictments are
expected in the near future against Rove and the information is coming out now
to help ease the shock and awe of announcement of those indictments.
