Raw Story
reported this morning that Fitzgerald was meeting with the grand
jury again today and MSNBC later confirmed the story.

Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald will present additional evidence to
a grand jury Wednesday morning in the CIA leak case that could result in an
indictment being handed up against White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl
Rove, sources close to the investigation told RAW STORY.

MSNBC’s Hardball has confirmed the story. To see a video of their report,

can’t link to the video directly.

Although the grand jury’s term expires in 18 months, Fitzgerald is
expected to wrap up the case as it relates to Rove before the end of the
year, the sources said.

Considering Fitzgerald’s reported attempt to wrap this up by the end of the
year shows that either he has solid evidence to get an indictment against more
officials or he has exhausted all avenues.

According to the
News Observer
, Novak told an audience yesterday that he is confident Bush
knows who the source is. This does not help the Presidents claim of trying to
get to the bottom of the scandal at all. It also shows the lack of ethics he
enforces and practices in the White House.
