TEL AVIV (AFP) – An Israeli teenager was convicted in Tel Aviv of murdering his mother because she refused to buy him a personal computer, a judicial source said.
The Tel Aviv district court ruled that 19-year-old Yivgeni Selastihin strangled and stabbed to death his mother, Ella, 42, in May 2005. The mother’s body was found rolled over inside a carpet in their apartment’s living room.
