Al Gore’s Current TV has been growing. Just this week Current TV hired Emmy award winner Madeline Smithberg, co-creator of The Daily Show. She was hired as a creative consultant and executive producer.

I have not been keeping up much with Current TV but I think that will change. Looking through their schedule, they have some interesting programs on there. Coming up in just a few minutes is a nine minute special on Zarqawi’s hometown. It is shows like these that we don’t see on the major networks that give us a little more perspective into our enemies.

Below the fold is a five minute animation Current TV did about the immigration debate. This was really well done and is set during the time of the Pilgrims landing in the new world.
