Hastert and Shimkus have talked about this investigation and were saying it was done by the Page Board. The Democratic member of the board said he was not told of any such investigation, or of the emails from Foley. Now the second member, of the three member board, has come forward and said she was not aware of it:

Rep. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., says she was not told about suggestive e-mails that a Florida congressman sent to a 16-year-old former Capitol page, even though she is one of three representatives who oversee the page program.
