Yesterday posted about the mountain of failures this administration has had. From Iraq to Katrina, it can be a full time job just documenting all the wrong turns the Bush White House has made. Also yesterday, we saw the first Republican publicly calling for Gonzales to go. John Sununu has been critical of the administration in the past, but for him to come out this strong could be a sign of a rift in the GOP.

Now the million dollar question is if we see other Republicans follow suit. The Republicans are now getting a taste of something new – oversight. Before it was easy to not engage in oversight and draw their own conclusions in the form of talking points. Now they start hearing actual facts during hearings and one can’t help but think they are getting a feeling of “oh shit”. Reality is setting in when it comes to how this administration has ran this country. That reality is being presented by people in the administration, as well as other witnesses. The Democrats are giving them the stage to tell all, and the facts are ugly. Talking points can not alter the reality that is occurring.
